Sr SalesForce Developer, AI Aware (Gong / Clari / Agentforce)

Overview

Senior Salesforce Developer role at MiniMed's Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune, building and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales, Clinical and Service platforms while contributing to AI-enabled transformation.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Build and maintain custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Partner with Product Managers, Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), Architects, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support critical business functions across Sales, Clinical, Customer Service, Marketing, and Digital initiatives.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications such as SAP, Data Platforms, Middleware, and external solutions.
• Participate in Agile development activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability, performance, and scalability.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD, Release Management, Quality Engineering, and governance processes.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation, process flows, solution diagrams, and development standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to GCC capability development, knowledge transfer, and best-practice adoption.
• Apply AI and Generative AI concepts to improve development productivity, business processes, and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with teams evaluating and implementing AI capabilities within the Salesforce and enterprise technology ecosystem.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform innovations, AI trends, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What you'll need

• 6 to 10 years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Apex Development.
• Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Flows.
• Strong expertise in Integration Design and Development with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and governor limits.
• Experience supporting global business stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts including Prompt Engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Generative AI Fundamentals, and AI-assisted Software Development.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Salesforce Administrator or Sales/Service Cloud certifications.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, or similar technologies.
• Experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Marketing Cloud (nice to have).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, DevOps, Generative AI, AI Agents, Enterprise AI Platforms, and Agile methodologies.
