Sr. Security Engineer - Enterprise Security

Overview

Sr. Security Engineer for Enterprise Security, co-owning day-to-day operation of the security environment. You will operate and evolve zero trust capabilities, handle escalations, and improve security policies and workflows at enterprise scale.

What you'll do

• Co-own day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the zero trust environment by responding to escalations and resolving issues.
• Continuously improve zero trust policies and workflows using usage patterns and incident learnings.
• Write documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security to ensure proper implementation of tools and policies.
• Support the Security Operations team during investigations as a technical subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Mentor Security team engineers to grow domain knowledge, tool skills, and communication abilities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining a zero trust / SASE platform at enterprise scale.
• Exposure to at least one additional enterprise security tool stack beyond zero trust.
• Automation mindset with scripting/debugging code with Python and using SOAR platforms.
• Strong familiarity with security challenges and ability to assess severity and business impact.
• Track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating effectively across teams.
• Residency in the Pacific or Hawaii time zone.
