Sr. Software Engineer (C# / .NET / SQL)

Overview

Design, develop, test and maintain C#, .NET and SQL software applications used in regulated clinical trial environments, working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.

What you'll do

• Analyze, design, develop, test, debug and maintain software enhancements and new applications using C#, .NET and SQL
• Perform requirements analysis and proactively identify gaps, ambiguities and risks
• Clearly distinguish business requirements from technical design and implementation
• Follow established development patterns, coding standards and software lifecycle processes
• Write clear, maintainable code with appropriate unit test coverage
• Identify, document and communicate software defects, including steps to reproduce and workarounds
• Conduct code and design reviews to identify weaknesses, alternatives and trade-offs
• Deliver high-quality, tested code on schedule with a low defect rate
• Demonstrate application features and fixes to product management and end users
• Partner with Quality Assurance by advising on regression testing focus areas
• Troubleshoot production and support issues, isolating defects to specific components
• Estimate development effort based on detailed design and contribute to planning activities
• Adhere to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET and basic SQL
• Working knowledge of drug development processes and regulatory requirements, including GxP and 21 CFR Part 11
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• Adaptability to changing priorities and a commitment to quality and service excellence

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in clinical trials, life sciences or pharmaceutical environments
