Sr Software Engineer Global - Observability Accelerators & AI

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Observability Accelerators & AI, building production-grade, AWS-native solutions that make telemetry easier to deploy, visualize, and act upon.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade software and AWS-native solutions.
• Lead technical direction and contribute to a large-scale cloud feature roadmap.
• Drive feature requirements definition with product managers and customers.
• Integrate AI-enabled workflows to improve developer productivity and observability outcomes.
• Design and implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Identify and prevent production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts.
• Mentor Software Engineers and support “shift left” activities.

What you'll need

• 5-7 years of relevant work-related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one required programming language (Python or similar listed).
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD, Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent training.

Nice to have

• Automated testing, machine learning, anomaly detection, SRE, and cost optimization.
