Sr Software Engineer Global

Overview

Sr Software Engineer responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and operational support of large-scale cloud systems and backend platforms using Python, AWS, and AI/ML technologies.

What you'll do

• Drive technical direction and feature roadmaps for large-scale cloud systems.
• Lead development efforts across internal and external engineering teams.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, microservices, integrations, and platform components.
• Build telemetry ingestion, evaluation, recommendation, and observability capabilities.
• Evaluate code for quality, structure, standards, and platform compatibility.
• Mentor Software Engineers through advice, coaching, and training.
• Investigate production issues and implement resolutions and operational improvements.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training.
• 5–7 years of relevant work-related experience.
• 5+ years of Python software development and backend engineering experience.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, event-driven solutions, and distributed applications.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native application development and AI/ML deployment.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and production support.
• Knowledge of testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and DevOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration platforms.
• OpenTelemetry implementation experience.
• React and TypeScript experience.
• Experience with GenAI evaluation frameworks and prompt engineering.

Details

• Work onsite approximately 3 days per week and as required by the business.
• May require extended hours as needed.
