Overview
Sr. Software Technologist I works as a technical coach/module lead to drive best practices, quality, and delivery for software projects.
What you'll do
- Coach a team or domain on technical expertise, guidance, and best practices across projects.
- Set quality goals and development practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Integrate software components and third-party libraries into existing systems.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enforce coding standards.
- Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Develop software logging/storage for performance data, usage, and errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
What you'll need
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development/design/architecture-related areas.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Expertise in React Framework, Next.js, TypeScript, Module Federation, and required UI frameworks.
- Good knowledge of CSS, Node.js, and React JS.
- Strong working experience with AWS and cloud technologies (must).
- Knowledge of CI/CD deployment pipelines using Serverless Framework or AWS SAM.
- Unit testing experience with Jest and/or Mocha, and TDD.
