Sr. Specialist - Business Data Services 4D

Overview

Support the Global Product Data team as the MDG-M and Core MD System integration functional expert, driving product data quality and MDG-M framework deployments.

What you'll do

• Be a member of the Global Product Data team, delivering solutions and processes that drive Product Data Quality.
• Create data profiling analyses and interpret results to support MDG-M Global Framework deployments.
• Define and execute central tests for MDG-M continuous improvement initiatives (CIPs) in preparation for regional and local testing.
• Educate and train regional and local MDG Functional Experts.
• Facilitate incident resolution with support teams through weekly calls and ad hoc requests.
• Ensure support team performance meets business expectations, with a focus on permanent root-cause resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Data Champions on documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Participate in Global Product Data System Governance to provide business impact assessments.
• Maintain deep expertise in the standards and principles of the MDG-M Global Framework configuration and act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for regional and local MDG-M Functional Experts.
• Maintain expertise in the technical integration solutions between Veritas, MDG, and Atlas from a business perspective.
• Understand how MDG (Global framework)/ATLAS / S4 works, including capabilities not visible to end users such as key batch jobs (representative item creation, GTIN generator,…) and integration principles.
• Understand the data flow, especially how Veritas and cPLM initiate item creation in MDG, and how MDG and Veritas/cPLM work together to create a specification on one hand and a material on the other.
• Understand business expectations on system delivery on MDG/ATLAS/S4 and look for standardization and harmonization.

What you'll need

• College degree, preferably in a technical field.
• Considerable experience of Master Data Management or Data Architecture (including relevant collaboration experience) spanning multiple domains in a complex multi-national corporate environment.
• Ability to envision, model and optimize complex yet efficient business processes, data and workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with independence and proven management experience within a matrix organization.
• Background in the BI, Information, Data, Analytics space.
• Strong business acumen of the FMCG industry and the Product/Material area.
• Experience with Solutions Architecture and applications portfolio management.
• Stakeholder relationship management of global leaders.
• Bachelors in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics, or Masters in Data Science.
• Required skills: Agile Methodology, Change Management, Data Governance, Data Modeling, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (PBI), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Language: English, proficient (C2).
