Senior Staff Software Engineer, Backend for Rocket Growth’s Supply Chain team, working on distributed systems and next-generation backend products.

What you'll do

• Drive architecture and system design for high-quality solutions.
• Define roadmaps and vision for scalable, robust product growth.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to keep the platform open and extensible.
• Align with stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
• Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions.
• Handle critical system issues through deep dives.

What you'll need

• Have 12+ years of experience in software design and development using Java and Python.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent.
• Have a track record designing and building large-scale distributed systems in the Supply Chain space.
• Have large system architecture design and development experience.
• Have cloud computing experience with AWS.
• Have experience developing container-based testing environments.
