Overview
Lead advanced security research for cloud-delivered security services, focusing on SaaS applications, APIs, cloud environments, threat detection, and data protection.
What you'll do
- Lead security research into SaaS applications, API architectures, and cloud environments.
- Design inline inspection algorithms and security controls for sensitive enterprise data.
- Investigate attack vectors, threat behaviors, and evasive adversary tactics.
- Analyze network protocols and traffic to develop security countermeasures.
- Build automated frameworks for traffic ingestion, payload decoding, and telemetry processing.
- Develop AI-assisted tools and research pipelines for threat analysis.
- Mentor researchers and communicate findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 4–9 years of hands-on experience in security research, network security, and threat analysis.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS, DNS, web APIs, and SaaS infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Wireshark, Fiddler, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite.
- Advanced Python, Go, or JavaScript skills for research tooling and automation.
- Experience architecting scalable data processing and automation systems.
- Expertise in cyber threats, vulnerability research, and DLP/CASB techniques.
- Strong technical documentation, publication, or presentation experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI cloud infrastructure.
- Machine learning, deep neural network, or multi-agent systems experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience integrating LLMs and generative AI tools into workflows.
- Knowledge of web application frameworks and front-end architectures.
