Overview
Sr. Supplier Development Engineer (RF Integration) to develop and manage supplier processes and RF test/validation for Starlink user terminal manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement RF test cases and calibration procedures at external suppliers.
- Create design-validation and production test solutions with hardware and software engineers.
- Link assembly data to final RF test performance and drive root-cause analysis of yield limiters.
- Use SPC/DOE and JMP to monitor and improve manufacturing yield.
- Build risk models to evaluate RF test strategies and ensure test coverage across corner cases.
- Support RF test tool installation, qualification, documentation (SOPs/engineering instructions), and ramp-up deliverables.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience with antennas, RF communication systems, or electronics hardware.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PhD in electrical or electronics engineering.
- 10+ years of professional experience with antennas, RF communication systems, or electronics hardware.
- 5+ years in electronics manufacturing with leadership in supplier development or process engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electronics final assembly, test and packout.
- Experience with antenna theory, wireless communications system design, RF components, microwave radio characterization, and programming (Python/C#/C++/MATLAB).
Details
- Location: Bangalore, India.
- Work mode: onsite only; remote work not considered.
- Travel: up to 50% of the work week to suppliers in Southeast Asia.
