Sr Support Engineer 1 - Mule/Middleware Support/SQL/Python/Snowflake

Overview

Provide technical support and administration for Python-based applications, MuleSoft integrations, middleware, and related platform services. The role covers deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning in production environments.

What you'll do

• Support Python and MuleSoft applications, adapters, and services.
• Investigate alerts, customer cases, and Level 1 and Level 2 issues.
• Deploy, upgrade, and support Python, Mule, AMQ, and related services.
• Install, patch, configure, and troubleshoot runtime servers and middleware components.
• Monitor environments and resolve performance issues.
• Automate manual support activities and process improvements.
• Work with customer, application, product, and technical teams to meet deadlines.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM discipline.
• 5–8 years of software development or support experience.
• Experience with Python, MuleSoft connectors, and Mule runtime deployments.
• Working knowledge of SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, or AppDynamics.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer-facing, communication, and service management skills.

Nice to have

• SaaS, cloud, or Azure experience.
• Experience with planning or execution systems.
• Prior systems administration or application configuration management experience.
