Sr. Support Engineer, SAP UK Payroll

Overview

Sr. Support Engineer for SAP UK Payroll, providing remote-based support for mission-critical SAP Payroll applications for global customers in the UK.

What you’ll do

• Provide subject matter expertise and remote support for SAP Payroll issues.
• Research and troubleshoot complex Payroll problems and recommend fixes.
• Support SAP Payroll and Time Management configuration (functional and technical).
• Support UK payroll statutory regulations, legal reporting, and country-specific infotypes.
• Investigate PCRs and schemas, Payroll and Finance integration, and Payroll calculations/processing.
• Support absence processing and UK payroll compliance activities (e.g., RTI submissions and year-end).

What you’ll need

• 10+ years of relevant hands-on SAP Payroll experience.
• Extensive experience supporting SAP Payroll for organisations operating in the UK.
• Deep knowledge of UK Payroll configuration, statutory regulations, legal reporting, and infotypes.
• Strong experience with PCRs and schemas, Payroll/Finance integration, and Payroll processing/calculations.
• Experience investigating and resolving complex SAP Payroll issues in highly configured environments.
• Ability to investigate/triage issues involving SAP Payroll ABAP code.
