Sr. SW Engineer (3-5 years, GenAI, Java/Python full stack)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on Visa’s VAS Innovation team to design and build software solutions using generative AI and modern integrations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions including generative AI and modern integration patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects integrating emerging technologies with existing platforms.
• Develop APIs for Value-Added Services applications, platforms, and solutions.
• Advance the core platform modernization roadmap and adopt best-in-class technology solutions.
• Improve technology stacks, development processes, and methodologies to increase productivity and time-to-market.
• Support incident/change/problem management and perform root-cause analysis for issues.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree.
• Expert-level skills in Java or Python, with C++ and C# as a bonus.
• Experience building generative AI and conversational AI applications, including RAG architectures.
• Ability to design and implement full-stack AI systems integrating with business processes.
• Proficiency in front-end web development technologies such as ReactJS/Angular/NodeJS.
