SRE / Platform Infrastructure Engineer Intern

Overview

Intern role for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / Platform Infrastructure Engineering focused on supporting and improving infrastructure reliability.

What you'll do

• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving infrastructure systems using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot production and staging issues.
• Improve observability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana (or similar).
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer workflows using scripts or tools.
• Shadow on-call and participate in incident reviews to learn production reliability practices.
• Help identify bottlenecks and improve system performance and scalability.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Linux systems, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language: Golang, Python, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools (required).
• Basic understanding of database concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

• Location: Colombia (Remote).
• Compensation: $2.800.000 COP monthly.
• Employment: Full-time.
