Staff Analyst - It Ea Finance

Overview

Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance consultant leading the design, implementation, testing and deployment of Group Reporting, Financial Consolidation, Record-to-Report and General Ledger capabilities across multiple legal entities.

What you'll do

• Lead design and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Define and maintain consolidation units, consolidation groups, FS items and reporting structures.
• Design ownership management, eliminations, currency translation and consolidation processes.
• Implement intercompany reconciliation, matching and elimination requirements.
• Support legal and management consolidation reporting across global entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end and year-end close optimization.
• Lead global GL process design and governance.
• Configure and support Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting, Multiple Ledgers, Profit Center Accounting, Segment Reporting, Financial Statement Versions, Account Determination and Allocation Processes.
• Design end-to-end financial close and reconciliation processes.
• Support chart of accounts harmonization and finance master data governance.
• Improve financial close efficiency and automation.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting teams to establish close procedures and controls.
• Design and validate external and management reporting requirements.
• Enable real-time reporting leveraging S/4HANA embedded analytics and Fiori applications.
• Participate in Fit-Gap analysis, solution architecture and blueprinting workshops.
• Challenge and simplify legacy ECC processes.
• Lead finance design decisions and integration across SAP modules.
• Support testing, cutover, data migration and hypercare activities.
• Provide solution recommendations aligned with SAP standard best practices.
• Collaborate with Controlling (CO), Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Order-to-Cash, Manufacturing and Data & Analytics teams.
• Ensure smooth integration between Group Reporting, GL, CO, Fixed Assets and Material Ledger.
• Support boundary application integration and financial data reconciliation activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and business analysts.
• Review solution designs and configuration quality.
• Drive issue resolution with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support executive steering committee updates and key decision discussions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Finance experience.
• Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Minimum 2 implementations involving SAP Group Reporting.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, General Ledger, Group Reporting, Financial Close, Intercompany Accounting, Consolidation, Parallel Ledgers, Document Splitting and Profit Center Accounting.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, CA or equivalent accounting certification.
• Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
• Knowledge of BlackLine, OneStream, BPC, Snowflake Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Central Finance.
• Experience supporting global multinational organizations.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, and contributes to continuous improvement by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.
