Staff Cloud Infra Engineer

Overview

Staff Cloud Infra Engineer to own key areas of a cloud-native platform, including Kubernetes and IaC foundations, reliability, and security controls across cloud regions and edge sites.

What you'll do

• Operate and improve a multi-cluster, multi-region Kubernetes platform, including cluster lifecycle, upgrades, workload isolation, networking, and resource management.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code with review, testing, and versioning to avoid manual drift.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for workloads including latency- and availability-critical network functions.
• Instrument services with SLO-based metrics, logs, and tracing; participate in on-call, lead incidents, and write postmortems.
• Implement platform security controls such as least-privilege IAM, secrets management, network segmentation, image scanning, and supply-chain integrity.
• Write and review design docs/infrastructure changes and mentor mid-level engineers.

What you'll need

• 7+ years in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles with ownership of production systems.
• Strong production Kubernetes experience, including upgrades, networking, resource limits, and failure debugging.
• Hands-on depth in AWS or GCP.
• Solid infrastructure as code practice (Terraform or equivalent).
• Proficiency in at least one systems/automation language (Go or Python preferred).
• Direct production reliability ownership, including carrying a pager and running incidents.

• Location: Bangalore, India; onsite in office 3 days a week.
• Work is described as an IC (not people management).
