Staff Engineer

Overview

Staff Engineer role in India with a focus on technical strategy, microservices, and engineering excellence.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate technical vision and strategy for projects.
• Lead adoption and integration of new technologies and best practices.
• Review code for quality, performance, security, and adherence to standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct workshops/training for upskilling.
• Design and develop microservices for Title and Escrow APIs.

What you'll need

• 12+ years with Microsoft technologies including C# (.NET Core/.NET Framework), TypeScript & NestJS, Node.js, and Python.
• 6+ years with microservices and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka (or other event processing service).
• 8+ years with modern UI frameworks React.js or Angular.
• 5+ years with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) including EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, and VPC.
• At least 4+ years designing/architecting systems with exposure to different patterns.
• At least 4+ years experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• 1+ years hands-on GenAI experience including LLM fine-tuning and RAG; plus prompt engineering.
