Staff Engineer NPI

Overview

Lead new product introduction, development, and sustenance activities through transfer to mass manufacturing and production issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Lead NPI for new product development and sustenance management.
• Make product and process decisions independently.
• Transfer new products from design to mass manufacturing.
• Conduct DFM and DFT reviews with the engineering team.
• Structure and maintain new product BOMs.
• Develop workflows for product and manufacturing documents and procedures.
• Resolve manufacturing issues by identifying root causes and implementing CAPA.

What you'll need

• Experience leading NPI and new product development efforts.
• Knowledge of DFM and DFT reviews.
• Ability to manage product BOMs.
• Ability to develop product and manufacturing documentation workflows.
• Ability to implement ECNs and deviations in production.
• Ability to respond to contract manufacturer queries.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, and SCM teams.
