Staff Engineer, Design

Overview

Design and validate high-speed datapath, DDR, and mixed-signal circuits for non-volatile memory products. The role covers circuit architecture, timing optimization, layout supervision, validation, and cross-functional technical initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design high-speed circuit blocks and subsystems for memory interfaces.
• Optimize circuit timing and supervise complex analog layouts.
• Validate circuits from base cells through full-chip level using simulation tools.
• Translate application specifications into circuit requirements.
• Define CMOS characteristics with modeling teams.
• Document micro-architecture specifications to industry standards such as ISO26262.
• Drive design-technology co-optimization across process, devices, circuits, and architecture.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience in relevant analog/mixed-signal, high-speed interface, memory, SerDes, or AMS architecture design.
• M.Tech. or Ph.D. in Microelectronics or a related discipline.
• Analog/mixed-signal CMOS circuit design experience in 5–40 nm technologies.
• Experience with DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, or SerDes interfaces.
• Experience with parallel or serial interfaces.
• Knowledge of CMOS physics, power trade-offs, mismatch analysis, Monte Carlo methods, noise analysis, and reliability.
• Proficiency with EDA tools including Cadence ADE/Virtuoso, Spectre, MATLAB, and Calibre.

Nice to have

• Experience in Plane Datapath design.
• Exposure to AI-enabled and Agentic AI technologies.
