Staff/Principal Engineer Core Team

Overview

Lead architecture, implementation, and technical execution for TrueFoundry’s AI infrastructure platform, spanning distributed systems, orchestration, observability, and cloud-native infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Drive architecture and design for complex distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Lead technical design, scalability initiatives, and critical customer problem-solving.
• Act as the technical contact for enterprise customer needs and escalations.
• Guide engineers across projects and partner with the CTO on architectural decisions.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and critical incident responses.
• Drive technical debt cleanup, performance improvements, and resilience upgrades.
• Translate customer needs into scalable engineering solutions.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of backend or systems engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience building or deploying ML/GenAI applications or working closely with ML/DS teams.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python, Golang, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Understanding of observability, resilience design, and SRE practices.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and hands-on execution skills.
