Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Staff Site Reliability Engineer role focused on building core reliability platforms, leading incident response, and advancing SRE practices across a global engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Build reliability frameworks and self-service tooling for service owners in a “You Build It, You Run It” culture.
• Drive the AIOps strategy for automating diagnostics, remediation, and proactive failure prevention.
• Embed SRE practices across engineering using design reviews, production readiness, and operational standards.
• Act as Incident Commander during critical events and ensure blameless postmortems.
• Deliver end-to-end monitoring, tracing, and profiling to optimize performance proactively.
• Mentor engineers across SRE and product teams through guidance and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• At least 3+ of those years in a Senior+ SRE position.
• Strong background running production SaaS systems at scale.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Go, or similar).
• Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancing).
• Proven incident management experience, including leading high-severity incidents and postmortems.
