Staff Software Development Engineer

Overview

Lead the design and implementation of ZCC features for a secure, high-performance Linux client using C++ and distributed systems expertise.

What you'll do

• Lead ZCC feature design and hands-on C++ implementation on Linux.
• Own complex projects from concept through deployment.
• Improve code quality and enforce engineering best practices.
• Process packets at ingress and egress points at high speed.
• Work with Quality Assurance to test and prepare products for deployment.

What you'll need

• 5+ years developing enterprise applications with distributed systems experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and debugging skills in a cloud environment.
• Deep understanding of operating system principles and Linux/Unix.
• Extensive network programming experience with TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and proxies.
• Knowledge of kernel-mode networking or NDIS drivers.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and AI-driven solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with AIOps, predictive scaling, or automated anomaly detection.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, PKI, TLS/SSL, authentication, endpoint agents, and anti-tampering.
• Experience with network data path, socket, and POSIX multithread programming.
