Overview

Staff Software Development Engineer for the core API team, focusing on high-performance API design and backend microservices.

What you'll do

• Design and develop secure, scalable, reliable, reusable APIs.
• Build microservices and extend in-house APIs for RESTful services and SDK integrations.
• Collaborate with front-end engineering to implement robust endpoints.
• Apply DevOps practices across continuous integration, infrastructure provisioning, automated deployment, testing, and version control.
• Lead system design, architectural governance, and technical roadmap contributions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on software application development for production-grade software.
• Strong backend experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot/Spring Framework or Quarkus.
• Proven expertise building distributed, cloud-native applications for high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Deep experience with Docker/Kubernetes containerized deployments on AWS or GCP.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated curiosity integrating AI tools to streamline workflows and augment problem-solving.
