Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer responsible for complex, time-critical security product enhancements and customer issue resolution, including design, code reviews, and mentoring.

What you'll do

• Design and code complex enhancements to meet functional/business requirements on time and within budget.
• Write and maintain documentation covering development, logic, coding, testing, and changes.
• Perform unit/module testing to find errors and confirm specifications.
• Fix bugs, add enhancements, and convert software to other platforms.
• Participate in design and code reviews with other developers.
• Mentor and develop less experienced software engineers on debugging approaches.

What you'll need

• Typically 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java/J2EE (Java full-stack) skills for enterprise-class applications.
• Strong design and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Windows/Unix operating system internals.
• Ability to debug multi-threaded, high-performance applications.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Enterprise security domain knowledge including OAuth/OpenID, PKI/SSL, and IAM/Federation.
