Overview
Staff Software Engineer, DevOps is a senior technical leadership role responsible for designing, building, and evolving DevOps infrastructure, automation, and cloud platform capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead DevOps initiatives across engineering teams with architectural standards and best practices.
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
- Architect and maintain highly available cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Enable containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration and operational standards.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (e.g., Terraform and CloudFormation) for reliability and automation.
- Partner with Security teams to implement cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response capabilities and drive SRE practices.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure and software delivery platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven success leading complex DevOps, cloud modernization, or platform engineering initiatives within SaaS organizations.
- Experience architecting highly available, fault-tolerant systems for mission-critical workloads.
- Advanced expertise with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure management.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks including Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
