Staff Software Engineer, macOS

Overview

Lead the architecture, development, and technical strategy for macOS and iOS device authenticator software and services within a security and identity platform.

What you'll do

• Translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps with product and engineering leaders.
• Lead features and services from conception through deployment.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical design reviews across teams.
• Improve code standards, automated testing, CI/CD, and architectural practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
• Prototype solutions based on emerging device security and AI-native development trends.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building Apple macOS or iOS features using Swift.
• Expertise in Apple software environments, performance optimization, and security.
• Advanced debugging experience with Xcode, LLDB, and Instruments.
• Experience with agile development, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Security expertise in cryptography, endpoint security, Secure Enclave, MDM, or endpoint detection.
• Knowledge of identity protocols such as FIDO, OIDC, or OAuth.
• Cybersecurity knowledge or certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
