About the role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Statutory Compliance Executive to manage PAN-India statutory obligations across multiple locations. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our organization stays compliant with all labour laws, government filings, and statutory requirements while liaising with labour offices and government agencies.
What you'll do
- Generate and file challans on government portals (PF, PT, ESIC, LWF) with accuracy and timeliness
- Liaise with labour offices across assigned regions to resolve compliance issues, audits, and statutory queries
- Maintain comprehensive MIS dashboards and reports on statutory compliance status, deductions, and filings for senior management
- Ensure strict adherence to PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, and Bonus rules and laws, staying updated on regulatory changes
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data accuracy and timely statutory submissions
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in statutory compliance, labour law, or payroll administration
- Strong understanding of PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, and Bonus rules, regulations, and calculation methodologies
- Proven expertise in generating and filing challans on government websites with zero errors
- Bachelor's degree in Law or MBA with relevant work experience in compliance or labour administration
- Willingness to work on-site across PAN-India locations (Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Odisha, Punjab, Gurgaon, Chhattisgarh, Lucknow, Assam)
Nice to have
- Experience with HRMS or payroll software systems
- Familiarity with GST or other indirect tax compliance
- Prior experience handling labour office audits and inspections
