Supervisor, Engineering

Overview

Supervisor, Engineering to lead and develop engineering team members, ensuring engineering work and projects meet business targets and performance metrics.

What you'll do

• Instruct, direct, motivate, and monitor team members’ performance.
• Supervise day-to-day activities, including job allocations based on skill sets.
• Manage engineering and supporting activities for global business units to meet technical fulfillment and project goals.
• Perform root cause analysis for delayed submissions and quality errors.
• Review and approve team work, and coach engineers to meet business expectations.
• Maintain performance metrics (OTD, KQI, utilization, Usage, Escapes/NCR) and track BU forecasted vs processed hours.
• Drive training, development, and continuous improvement, including mentoring for new employees.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years industrial experience, preferably in pumps/rotating equipment machines.
• Solid understanding of engineering CAD, designing & detailing, and GD&T.
• Strong English oral and written communication for reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of internal and international standards.
• Experience with ERP and Windchill, engineering change notices, and production process.
