Supply Chain (Manufacturing) Strategy and Transformation Director

Overview

Anaplan is seeking a Supply Chain (Manufacturing) Strategy and Transformation Director to act as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic leader within the Integrated Business Applications organization, supporting Go To Market teams across demand generation, discovery, implementation and expansion.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the creation and delivery of knowledge-sharing initiatives, including sales programs, executive presentations, ROI insights, customer success stories and enablement assets.
• Distill deep domain expertise and positioning into crisp, actionable sales tactics.
• Ensure Supply Chain Applications presentations and demonstrations are aligned with prospect and customer requirements.
• Support all stages of complex sales opportunities, onsite and remotely, as a technical, process and architectural expert.
• Act as ambassador to and advocate for application customers post-sale, driving expansion.
• Support Platform, Application and AI Teams with application design, best practices, pre-market testing and early adopter customers.
• Capture structured feedback from customer, prospect and partner engagements and translate field insights to Product Management to shape application roadmap priorities.
• Serve as a key thought leader at Anaplan, analyst and industry engagements and events, producing thought leadership content across diverse media.
• Contribute to market insights, whitepapers, and high-impact use cases for customer discovery and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with the Competitive Intelligence Team to sharpen competitive differentiation, battlecards and win reports.

What you'll need

• More than a decade of experience in the Supply Chain Planning space.
• Demonstrable understanding of Anaplan's platform and its applications to solve complex business challenges (or similar EPM / Enterprise Planning / Supply and Demand Planning solutions in the market).
• Deep domain knowledge of supply and demand planning at strategic, operational and headcount levels, including Supply Chain focused enterprise performance management, planning and reporting solutions, required processes and best practices, and key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Understanding of product management, enablement and GTM operations.
• Proven experience in consultative selling or strategic advisory roles, preferably within SaaS or enterprise software, with the ability to ask the right questions, manage objections, and guide the sales journey from start to implementation and expansion.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and knowledge-sharing skills, with exceptional ability in presenting compelling content, performing product demonstrations, leading workshops and developing enablement programs.
• A results-driven mindset, able to collaborate across teams and focus on deliverables of the highest possible quality and impact.

Nice to have

• Background working in the Manufacturing industry, preferably having worked directly in a manufacturing company before transitioning to SaaS or Enterprise Software organizations.
