Supply Chain Operations Senior Analyst

Overview

Supply Chain Operations Senior Analyst supporting global demand planning operations, improving forecast accuracy and enabling data-driven decisions in alignment with supply chain KPIs, client SLAs and business objectives.

What you'll do

• Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the regional guidelines.
• Manage the forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Coordinate the local forecasting process and co-build short and mid-term demand plans with the Sales and Marketing team.
• Propose demand plans based on statistical analysis, considering market trends, customer vision and expected exceptional guidelines from previous S&OP cycles.
• Co-operate with the Product and Marketing teams to understand product availability and upcoming marketing activities.
• Consolidate product-level forecasts from the sales teams.
• Provide visibility on product performance and reveal trends towards lower or higher margin products for fact-based management decisions.
• Maintain the demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and meet customer needs.
• Work with sales teams and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.
• Streamline demand forecasts and ensure synchronicity of targets and forecasts across all functions.
• Track actual sales performance against forecast, provide analysis and manage remedial action.
• Monitor the uptake of project stocks from FGS and distributor warehouses against forecast.
• Develop good working relationships with peers in Marketing functions and EM to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Build and maintain good working relationships within and across the department to support implementation and smooth execution of demand forecasting within the S&OP process.

What you'll need

• Any graduation: Bachelor's (B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BE/B.Tech).
• 3 to 8 years of experience in demand planning with exposure to global complex planning networks.
• At least 2-3 years of work experience in a demand planning role.
• Tools and systems: APS tools (Kinaxis/o9/OMP/IBP/APO, etc.), SAP ECC, Power BI and Advanced Excel.

Nice to have

• Master's in supply chain and operations.
