Support engineer

Overview

The Support Engineer provides highly visible customer support for complex equipment and systems, including on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, repair, and customer instruction.

What you'll do

• Perform on-site installation and oversee diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Check out and approve the operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as the company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Interpret customers’ needs and clarify whether responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support representatives, or engineers.
• Provide field support for system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking.
