Overview
SW Development Engineer 1 - Android. You will design and build applications for the Android platform.
What you'll do
- Design and build Android platform applications.
- Implement requirements on Android apps and maintain design documents.
- Discover and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Interface with software test teams to support high-quality product delivery.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Participate in design, code, and test reviews.
- Propose and implement app enhancements to improve sustainability.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year native Android development experience using Kotlin with Jetpack Compose.
- 0–1 years professional software development experience.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitFlow.
- Experience writing automated tests using Espresso and Mockito.
