SW Test Development Engineer 2

Overview

SW Test Development Engineer 2 developing automated testing solutions for mobile and web experiences, including AI/ML-powered medical technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop automated solutions for mobile app testing on real devices and emulated environments.
• Build APIs and endpoints to automate web portal updates, send notifications, and generate documentation.
• Promote automation platforms using native, low-code, and no-code development approaches.
• Create integrations between tools (e.g., Jira, Testrail, Slack, GitHub, Datadog) to streamline workflows and automate data transfers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, PM, PO, regulatory) to define scope and deliverables.
• Identify automation opportunities and track ROI metrics for continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2–5 years of related experience (typically).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, preferably Python.
• Experience building test automation for AI/ML-based medical products.
• Knowledge of mobile development using Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Experience developing or enhancing testing frameworks for mobile and web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Appium and native mobile testing frameworks like Espresso and XCUI Test.
• Experience developing backend API testing tools for REST APIs and cloud services.
