Systems Engineering Manager, CT

Overview

Systems Engineering Manager for Computed Tomography (CT) systems, leading Systems Engineers to build systems that meet customer requirements for quality, performance, cost, and speed to market.

What you'll do

• Lead CT systems engineering teams to develop systems aligned to customer requirements.
• Partner with product management and cross-functional global teams on product/technology strategy discussions for CT systems engineering.
• Collaborate with global systems teams to drive design-for-platform, consistent engineering processes, efficiency, and systems test automation.
• Provide functional leadership including recruitment, technical career development, coaching, training, and learning experiences.
• Manage a small to medium team of senior professionals and others.
• Integrate Quality Management System processes with functional engineering practices such as Six Sigma, Lean, and technical design review rigor.
• Manage resource assignment and prioritization, including headcount and budget management.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of engineering experience with emphasis on new product development.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership responsibility.
• Prior experience directly managing Systems Engineering or leading systems engineering projects.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or Physics.
