Technical Helpdesk Support Engineer

Overview

Provide technical assistance and workplace technology support for business users in an onsite Technical Helpdesk Support Engineer role.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile device, application, and network issues.
• Configure and support user accounts, endpoint devices, and workplace technology services.
• Manage incidents and service requests through resolution within agreed service levels.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and customer interactions.
• Support audio-visual technologies during meetings, events, town halls, and presentations.
• Analyze recurring issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver consistent support.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT helpdesk, technical support, desktop support, or EUC.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, laptop, and workplace technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and MacOS environments.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Active Directory.
• Experience using ITSM or helpdesk tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting VDI/VDM environments.
• Microsoft, Apple/MacOS, or related technical certifications.
• Experience with enterprise collaboration and conferencing solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices.
