Technical Lead / Senior Salesforce Developer

Overview

Lead Salesforce development at Barclays by designing scalable, secure solutions and guiding end-to-end feature delivery and release execution. The role includes technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, mentoring, and development-quality ownership.

What you'll do

• Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, triggers, classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and asynchronous processing.
• Build Salesforce user interfaces with Lightning Web Components.
• Design scalable Salesforce data models and enterprise-grade solutions.
• Integrate Salesforce using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and Named Credentials.
• Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
• Lead feature delivery, release execution, risk assessment, and delivery commitments.

What you'll need

• Strong Apex development experience.
• Hands-on Lightning Web Components experience.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Role Hierarchies.
• Proficiency with Git, branch management strategies, and source-driven development.
• Experience mentoring developers and providing technical guidance.
• Experience collaborating with Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Experience leading end-to-end feature delivery and release execution.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Enterprise Design Patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, Agile delivery, or Salesforce Shield.
• Experience establishing development standards, governance processes, or coding guidelines.
• Experience leading offshore/onshore development teams.
