Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams to foster collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle—from planning and design through implementation and deployment.
• Apply data engineering principles and provide hands-on guidance to technical leaders and developers.
• Use AI tools and techniques to enhance team efficiency, optimize workflows, and support faster delivery.
• Ensure clear communication across development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Champion Agile practices and drive consistent delivery while adapting to changing priorities.
• Drive creation of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software that meets client expectations.
• Participate in architecture and tech stack discussions to optimize for increasing server load and performance needs.
• Engage with customers to gather first-hand business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in engineering management with a solid software development foundation.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and strong software engineering principles.
• Experience with data engineering concepts and practical application.
• Hands-on programming experience (able to contribute technically when needed).
• Proven ability to use AI tools to improve team productivity and delivery effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team alignment.
• Track record managing projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong passion for building excellent products and solving complex technical problems.
• BE/BTech in Computer Science (or equivalent).
