Technical Product Manager

Overview

Own a technical product vertical for BJAK’s neobank superapp, covering strategy, outcomes, roadmap, technical design and delivery for areas such as payments, remittance, insurance, or wealth and trading.

What you'll do

• Own a product vertical, including outcomes, metrics, prioritised backlog and acceptance criteria.
• Shape system design with engineering across money movement, integrations, failures, security, latency, scalability and recovery.
• Balance correctness, speed, cost, reliability and user experience.
• Apply licensing, compliance, screening, monitoring, privacy and data-residency constraints to product decisions.
• Define appropriate AI use, evaluation, human oversight and handling of uncertainty.
• Ship features behind flags as partner and regulatory gates clear.
• Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance/Reconciliation.

What you'll need

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end to end.
• Strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
• Solid system-design knowledge, including APIs, workflows, failure modes and concurrency.
• Ability to review and challenge design documents and sketch architectures.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance or insurance.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluable AI features.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Engineering or highly technical product-management background.
• Zero-to-one product experience.
• Experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products.
• Experience defining ML or LLM evaluation metrics.
• Southeast Asia market experience.
