Technical Product Owner

Overview

Technical Product Owner supporting corporate fraud detection products and delivery across fraud technology. The role shapes product initiatives and roadmaps while coordinating Agile development, testing, stakeholders, risk, and controls.

What you'll do

• Shape corporate fraud detection product vision, roadmaps, and business outcomes.
• Gather and prioritise product requirements, features, and business user stories.
• Define non-functional requirements, process flows, data specifications, and data dictionaries.
• Support Agile ceremonies and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor product quality, performance, testing, and optimisation opportunities.
• Analyse data to inform product direction and communicate complex information.
• Identify and manage fraud risks, controls, policies, and governance requirements.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end fraud detection product delivery.
• Understanding of corporate banking channels, including attended and unattended channels.
• Knowledge of high-value and high-volume payment domains.
• Knowledge of proprietary and non-proprietary payment messaging formats and local implementations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, data analysis, and risk management skills.
• Experience supporting testing functions within corporate fraud detection.
• Competence using JIRA.

Nice to have

• Experience in corporate or wholesale banking.
• Experience with the Barclays model development lifecycle.
• Experience with re-platforming, migration, and data-driven back-end projects.
• Awareness of the Barclays LCT application and associated processes.
