Product Owner Credit Risk, VP

Overview

Product Owner for Credit Risk Technology at Vice President level, leading product vision, roadmap, and delivery across the credit risk domain in an Agile setting.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate product vision and roadmap with business, architecture, engineering, and product stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to embed value delivery in Agile planning.
• Refine and re-prioritize the product backlog based on criticality, cost, and value.
• Drive end-to-end delivery across the credit risk domain using Agile ceremonies and backlog activities.
• Monitor and improve product health and maturity metrics for credit risk.
• Ensure product quality through compliance with UX, architecture, business process, SDLC, and release to production.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner/product management in an Agile environment.
• In-depth credit risk experience across the credit risk lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior-level communication skills to drive large-scale regulatory/risk/data/technical programs.
• Experience with backlog management techniques, including prioritization, refinement, and grooming.
• Knowledge of risk or finance domain.
• B.E/BTech or a degree in computer science/information technology or a recognized finance/risk degree (e.g., MBA, B.COM, FRM/CFA).

Nice to have

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and ability to scope and deliver AI-enabled features end-to-end.
• Experience with credit risk lifecycle areas such as Limit Management, Rating Methodologies, or Recovery Management.
• Knowledge of BASEL & ECB IRBA guidelines and rating methodology models (PD/LGD/EAD/RWA) and associated data sources.
• Experience with testing methodologies/frameworks such as BDD.
• Ability to write simple SQL queries for analysis and technical skills (Oracle, Python, Java, Angular).
• Data analytical tool knowledge such as Tableau and Qlik.
