Business Analyst II - Product Owner

Overview

Business Analyst II – Product Owner for UK domestic clearing products, focusing on enhancements and defining requirements for new products and services.

What you'll do

• Own the working backwards document and vision for feature releases.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals and customer needs.
• Use research, user studies, metrics, and competitive analysis to understand platform and business needs.
• Make trade-off decisions on platform product features and define scope and priorities.
• Prep launches and monitor platform performance, adoption, and operational health for feature sets.
• Incorporate feedback from post-launch reviews into features.
• Develop and implement metrics into measurement techniques and reports.

What you'll need

• Proven PO experience with a track record working in financial services.
• Understanding and experience of UK payment domestic clearing products/services (e.g., Bacs or real-time FPS payments).
• Experience producing business requirements specification documents.
• Ability to perform elicitation and analysis of business change, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
