Testing Engineer

Overview

Testing Engineer role at ABB (Motion). Conducts testing and verification for systems, subsystems, or products, supporting installation testing and preparing test documentation.

What you'll do

• Conduct testing and verification for assignments of systems, subsystems, or products.
• Provide technical support during installation of test objects in the test area.
• Prepare project test documentation.
• Execute testing according to schedule.
• Perform risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and take appropriate actions.
• Maintain test reports and certificates to prove compliance with applicable standards, market/regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Maintain a network of engineering professionals and share best practices across projects.

What you'll need

• Full-time BE or B.Tech qualification (field as listed: “Ele”.)
• 5+ years of testing experience of VFD panels.
• Experience with FAT and the IEC61800-2 standard.
• Electrical knowledge on motors and transformers.
