Overview

Testing role (L4) at Capco, a Wipro company, focused on quality assurance across the software development lifecycle, including test planning, test execution, test automation and bug reporting.

What you'll do

• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Create test plans and test cases.
• Execute all levels of QA tests and analyze results.
• Report bugs.
• Help troubleshoot issues related to test environments.
• Create and maintain testing documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Own your test automation set and develop test scripts for test automation.
• Help with release coordination (if needed).
• Be ready to substitute anyone within the squad.

What you'll need

• Good communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English (C1 minimum).
• Experience with at least one quality control supporting tool (e.g. MS Azure DevOps, Octane).
• Experience with SQL, including testing with DB.
• Experience with API testing tool (Postman is preferred, see Nice to have).
• Experience with test automation via Postman/Playwright.
• Experience with test driven development.
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Technical skills: Postman, Gitlab, SQL, Mongo DB, test automation, Dynatrace, Kibana (ability to read the logs), JavaScript for test automation purposes.
• Behavioral skills: team player, responsible, organized, good communication skills, proactive.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
