Overview
Threat Intel Manager for the Model Exploitation & Fraud team within Threat Intelligence, responsible for detecting, investigating, and disrupting large-scale exploitation of Anthropic’s AI systems.
What you'll do
- Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the Model Exploitation & Fraud mission area.
- Hire, manage, and develop a team of technical threat investigators.
- Lead complex investigations into model distillation, unauthorized AI R&D usage, unauthorized access, account abuse, and fraud/scam networks.
- Redesign triage for a high-volume detection pipeline, including abuse signals and investigation workflows.
- Expand coverage into fraud and scams by building detection and investigation playbooks.
- Manage external engagement, including regular intelligence sharing with U.S. government partners and industry peers.
- Work with policy, enforcement, and engineering to convert findings into bans, product mitigations, and safety-by-design improvements.
What you'll need
- Experience leading and managing investigative, fraud, platform integrity, or threat intelligence teams.
- Domain fluency in scaled abuse, including fraud patterns, account abuse, unauthorized access, or platform exploitation economics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python to review data-heavy casework.
- Experience overseeing investigations tracking threat actors across surface, deep, and dark web environments.
- Working familiarity with large language models and how models can be distilled, extracted, or exploited at scale.
- Experience building processes, detection systems, or programs from scratch.
- Strong communication with executives, engineers, and external partners.
Details
- Annual salary range: $375,000—$455,000 USD.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination.
- Location-based hybrid policy: expected in an office at least 25% of the time.
