UAL Automation Tester-02

Overview

Leads automation testing for complex software systems, with responsibility for test strategy, automated frameworks, end-to-end testing, and QA team guidance.

What you'll do

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams on releases.
• Analyze test results and identify root causes.
• Improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of software testing experience focused on automation and test leadership.
• Expertise with Selenium using Java or similar automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of programming or scripting languages, preferably Java.
• Experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or ReadyAPI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in the airlines domain.
