USCB GTA Technical Product Owner

Overview

USCB GTA Technical Product Owner at Barclays, responsible for maximizing product value by defining product vision, managing and prioritizing the product backlog, and driving execution for the product area/sub-journey.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate product vision, goals, and user story priorities to delivery teams.
• Create, refine, and maintain user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• Manage the product backlog by prioritizing highest-value features based on business needs and customer requirements.
• Participate in Agile events including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Gather and use customer/end-user feedback plus market research to identify improvements.
• Review and accept/reject sprint deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and iterate roadmap/backlog accordingly.

What you'll need

• Ability to leverage SAS, SQL, and Excel to query and analyze data for use case creation and functional specifications.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements to support efficiencies in design phases.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliverables to maintain forward progress.
• Capability to create and provide artefacts to manage US GTA deliver process (the backlog) in a controlled and governed manner.
• Ability to provide coaching and institutional knowledge to stakeholders for understanding relevant information.
• Maintain procedures, reconciliations, and approvals of requirements delivered.
• Perform special projects as directed by management; other ad-hoc as required.
