Vice President, Product Management Business Loans, Consumer Banking Group

Overview

Own the full lifecycle of DBS business loan products, including government-backed schemes such as Mudra loans, to drive profitable growth and market adoption.

What you'll do

• Define the strategy and roadmap for business loan products, aligned with overall business objectives.
• Identify target segments, including micro and small enterprises, and develop compelling value propositions.
• Conduct market research, including analysis of competitor business loan offerings and government-backed schemes like Mudra loans.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize sales volume and profitability.
• Create business cases for new business loan product proposals and secure internal approvals.
• Partner with credit risk teams to define and refine underwriting policies and processes for business loans, with specific attention to Mudra loan guidelines.
• Integrate credit risk considerations into all stages of business loan product development.
• Contribute to underwriting strategies across the business loan portfolio, including sub-segments for Mudra loan beneficiaries.
• Work with platform teams to define system requirements and ensure successful setup and integration of business loan products.
• Drive process improvements and collaborate with technology teams to maintain a business loan product roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
• Develop and deliver go-to-market launch plans for business loan products.
• Monitor and improve product performance, including volume, revenue, and profit forecasts.
• Gather customer feedback to inform continuous product enhancement.

What you'll need

• Master's degree in business management, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product management within business loans, including strategy definition, pricing, and market launch.
• Strong understanding of credit risk considerations and underwriting policies specific to business loans.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of government-backed loan schemes, with particular emphasis on Mudra loans.
• Experience collaborating with technology and platform teams for system setup and integration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influential skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
