Video Editor Marketing

Overview

Develop marketing video content for websites, social media, microsites, digital ads, clients, and other channels as a mid-level video editor and animator.

What you'll do

• Create motion graphics, animations, and graphic overlays from concept through execution.
• Collaborate on ideas and storyboards and present concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Operate cameras, audio equipment, and lighting in a professional production environment.
• Edit and manipulate footage in post-production.
• Create product and client videos for websites, social media, and other channels.
• Add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects and produce rough and final cuts.
• Apply new editing technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in an external or in-house agency.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with Mac OS X and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Audition and Photoshop.
• Experience taking video content from ideation to completion using motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.
• Strong understanding of editing workflows and file structuring, especially in Premiere.
• Strong creative, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
