Overview
Instructional Designer role supporting 1:1 discovery and strategy sessions to design and deliver learning experiences. You’ll build eLearning/video/ILT modules end to end, analyze feedback and learner data, and independently manage design decisions and production deliverables.
What you'll do
- Lead client discovery and strategy sessions using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Design learning experiences and recommend formats and structure based on content and audience needs.
- Analyze learner feedback and assessment data to identify gaps and recommend content improvements.
- Own end-to-end development of learning modules, courses, and programs through design, QA, and deployment.
- Create storyboards, scripts, prototypes, assessments, and final production assets on schedule.
- Manage revision cycles by evaluating feedback, applying design judgment, and documenting rationale.
- Independently research and evaluate tools, formats, and approaches aligned to learning objectives.
What you'll need
- 2–4 years of experience in instructional design or learning content development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to provide a portfolio showing ownership of eLearning or blended learning projects from design through delivery.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise to produce polished, interactive eLearning without support.
- Proficiency in LMS/LXP platforms to publish, test, troubleshoot, and maintain course content.
- Experience with video recording and editing tools to produce and edit learning video content.
- Proficiency with SCORM, including packaging, testing, and version control.
