Overview
VP of Engineering for the Bangalore (India) office, reporting directly to the CTO, leading full-stack product engineering teams and the office’s engineering culture and operations.
What you'll do
- Lead and scale full-stack product engineering teams across Bangalore.
- Partner with global engineering and product leadership to align Bangalore roadmap contributions.
- Drive architectural decisions and engineering best practices across teams.
- Serve as the senior floor leader and day-to-day leadership presence.
- Own employee experience via onboarding, engagement, career development, and retention.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Bangalore office and global leadership across US and EMEA.
What you'll need
- 12–15 years of progressive software engineering experience, including senior engineering leadership roles.
- Hands-on software engineering background with production code experience.
- Leads and scales large engineering teams (200+ people) spanning software, hardware, QA, and operations.
- Proven track record of defining and shaping an office or engineering culture.
- Experience providing floor-level leadership presence (visible and accessible).
- Strong full-stack product engineering expertise to guide architectural decisions and technical strategy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
